Some hills. No bathrooms along route but available at beginning Discovery Center. The geology and Eco-diveristy are unique to this eastern part of the Columbia Gorge. The viewpoints are indeed spectacular.
Caution: it is very easy to become dehydrated due to the Gorge wind even when you feel comfortable or are not sweating a great deal. Summer is hot; The Dalles can easily reach upper 90s...4 pm is the hottest part of the day.
